From 2000 through 2002, Bonnie Brandl of the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life/Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WCADV) and Loree Cook-Daniels, then consulting to the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), completed a review of more than 50 research studies related to domestic violence in later life. This work was supported, in part, by grant No. 90-AP-2144, from the Administration on Aging, Department of Health and Human Services, and by a subcontract from VAWnet.
