July 2003: We are very pleased to announce

Conference Additions
July 2003: Thirty-three new conferences were
added in July to our listing of conferences
and events related to elder abuse, vulnerable adult abuse,
domestic violence, and related topics.
Local Media Database Announcement and Updates
June 2003: In response to community requests,
in March AAR announced the availability of a database
of local newspaper and published TV reports on cases and
issues involving elder or vulnerable adult abuse. By the end
of June, we had articles from 44 states, the District of Columbia,
and Guam.
Analysis of Federal Programs and Funding Related to Elder and
Vulnerable Adult Abuse (Ongoing AAR series)
April 2003: Initially, it was just going to
be an article or two on Federal programs and funding focusing
on elder and/or vulnerable adult abuse. But the more we looked,
the more there was to be found. The most recent articles are
on the National Center on Elder Abuse, in the April
2002 AAR.
